Kerria Japonica Golden Guinea

Deciduous shrub with slender arching stems bearing mid-green toothed leaves. In spring, the stems are covered in bright yellow star-shaped flowers that add colour to the garden when little else is flowering. It flowers on new growth, so to keep it from looking scruffy, cut it back hard after flowering. Max mature height 150cm Mature spread 150-250cm.

Grow in sun or shade and in most soil conditions. It spreads by suckering and can become invasive if not checked.
