Acer Palmatum Orange Dream

Japanese Maple. A relatively new slow growing narrowly upright cultivar. Golden-yellow coloured new growth takes on a light green tone in summer, then turns a brilliant golden, red, and orange in autumn. A densely-branched shrub that may grow to around 6-12 feet.

Plant in moist fertile well drained soil. To much sun will burn the leaves, to little makes foliage retain the green colour. Morning Sun / Partial shade, Hardy.

  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Shrub and area thoroughly.
  • Water regular until Shrub is established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
