Rhododendron Hybrid Gomer Waterer. A compact rounded, evergreen shrub with clusters of white flowers opening from lilac-pink buds flushed mauve-pink at the margins and a bold yellow flare in the throat in late spring and early summer. Makes an excellent border addition. Max Height 2m. Max Spread 2m. Flowers May to June



Plant in moist acidic well drained soil. Full sun / partial shade, Hardy. Provide a winter mulch for added protection.


General Rhododendron Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding a bucketful of planting compost.
  • Remove the pot, if the Rhododendron is well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Rhododendron and area thoroughly
  • Water regular until Rhododendron is established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
