Verbascum Cherry Helen

Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual and showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Triangular grey-green leaves are held in a low rosette, bearing tall upright spikes with delicate blooms of glowing cherry to plum-red. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Remove faded blooms to encourage more buds. Height 90-120 cm, Spread 30-45 cm.

Plant in moist well drained soil, Full Sun.
