Tiarella Tiger Stripe


A clump-forming, semi-evergreen perennial bearing rosettes of heart-shaped to broadly ovate, deeply lobed, purple-mottled, mid- to bright green leaves turning bronze-purple in autumn and dense, upright racemes of fluffy, pale pink flowers from late spring into summer. Height of 0.3m and a Spread of 0.6m after 2-5 years.


Prefers cool, moist, humus-rich soil in partial or full shade. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions.


General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
  • Water regular until established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
