Echinacea Double Scoop Bubble Gum


An upright, clump-forming, deciduous perennial with ovate, toothed, mid- to dark green leaves and, from summer into autumn, lightly fragrant, double, pompon-like, bright pink flower heads surrounded by pink ray petals. Will reach a height of 0.7m and a spread of 0.5m after 2-5 years.


Grow in deep, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Best in full sun, although partial shade will be tolerated.


General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
  • Water regular until established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
