Agastache Foen. Blue Fortune


Giant hyssop, upright, bushy perennial, sometimes grown as an annual, with aromatic leaves and tall spikes of tubular, lavender-blue flowers in late summer into autumn. Uses include Beds and borders, City, Cottage/Informal, Garden edging, Gravel, Ground Cover, Wildlife. Will reach a height of 0.5m and a spread of 1m after 1-2 years.


Plant in fertile and well-drained soil in full sun. This is a short-lived plant.


General Herbaceous & Perennial Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding some planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the area thoroughly.
  • Water regular until established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
