Capsicum annuum 'Apache'

 

Pepper Chilli, Deciduous compact, spice plant with solitary flowers followed by tapered, medium sized, medium hot green fruit in summer ripening to red in autumn. Will reach a height of 0.45m and a spread of 0.5m after 1-2 years.

 

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. Otherwise grow under glass.

 

General Vegetable Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding a bucketful of planting compost.
  • Ensure that the top is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Vegetable and area thoroughly
  • Water regular until Vegetable is established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
