Mint Pineapple Variegated


Mentha suaveolens Variegata. A member of the Apple Mint family that is a hybrid of the grapefruit mint. Has a hint of pineapple so is great added to fruit salad or juice drinks. Has a beautiful green leaf edged with white. White / cream flowers. Reaches 20 - 30 cm in Height.



Likes moist, rich soil. Prefers a partial shade position (but will take full sun).


General Herb Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding a bucketful of planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if the Herb is well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Herb and area thoroughly
  • Water regular until Herb is established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
