Mint Indian

 

Satureia douglasii. An intriguing hanging 'Mint' trailing over 50 cm. It exhibits delicate white flowers along its length. Ideal for growing on its own, or in a mixed basket somewhere where the fragrance can be appreciated. Height x Spread: 20 x 50 cm.

 

Prefers full sun, or partial shade with free-draining soil or compost.

 

General Herb Planting and care

  • Water the pot thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base. Adding a bucketful of planting compost.
  • Remove the pot gently, if the Herb is well rooted cut off the pot.
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in, water the Herb and area thoroughly
  • Water regular until Herb is established.
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring.
