Vitis Boskoop Glory


Vigorous, woody, deciduous vine with lobed, dark green leaves turning orange or red in autumn, and dense panicles of fragrant, insignificant greenish-white flowers in early summer followed by clusters of edible, juicy, blue-black fruit when ready to harvest in late summer or early autumn. Suitable for use as a dessert or wine grape. Will reach a height of 12m and a spread of 6m after 10-20 years.


Plant in Full sun in well drained soil


General Climber Planting and care

  • Water the Climber thoroughly and allow to drain fully
  • If the Climber is being planted in a lawn remove a circle of turf
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base Adding a bucketful of planting compost
  • Remove the pot gently, if well rooted cut off the pot
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in well
  • Water the Climber and area thoroughly, then again at least once a week during the first growing season
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring
