Sedum Cappa Blanca


Excellent for rock gardens or as ground cover, Prized for it's outstanding foliage which is rosettes of fleshy green leaves dusted with a silvery-white waxy powder, creating a decorative background for the deep golden blooms in summer. They are also ideal growing in coastal areas. Full grown height 10 cmn Width 10 - 25 cm .

General Alpine Planting and care

  • Water the Alpine thoroughly and allow to drain fully
  • If the Alpine is being planted in a lawn remove a circle of turf
  • Dig a hole twice the size of the pot being planted and fork over the base Adding a bucketful of planting compost
  • Remove the pot gently, if the tree is well rooted cut off the pot
  • Ensure that the top of the Root ball is level with the surrounding soil
  • Replace the remaining soil and heel in well
  • Water the Alpine and area thoroughly, then again at least once a week during the first growing season
  • Apply some general fertiliser every spring
